About Us

A love of fabric, sewing, creativity and a need to replicate a grandmother’s story; this was the backdrop of opening my first Bricks and Mortar shop in 2005. Hearing stories from my maternal grandmother about her General Store/s which included Fabric and Haberdashery and her connection with Community especially during the Depression era fascinated me as a young child. Her hands were always busy…… cooking, sewing, stitching, gardening, painting and caring for her family.
